The law including regulations and rules reflects the society and its culture. Reforming and rearticulating laws without social considerations threats the legal safety and stability. The recent reform regarding regulations of medicine has become a major issue to the conflict between the government and doctors. This paper explores the main contents of new medical regulations reformed by the government and discuss the current and future directions of governmental policies related to the medical law in terms of legal point of view. The allotment of the right regarding diagnosis and prescription to nurses and pharmacists is argued in this article. The new medical regulations also include the reinforcement of patients¡¯ confidentiality, the separation of the previous committee into a judging and a mediation committees and the issue concerning medical services conducted by people that are not medical professionals. The recent reform of medical regulations by the government represents the new paradigms in spite of the conflicts caused between the government and medical professionals. However, the problems resulted from the recent reform should not be neglected because medical laws are involved in other legal regulations and influence the whole nation as well as medical professionals. In conclusion, it is necessary to establish a new committee that includes the government, the medical field and the people in order to give a careful review to the reform regarding medical laws.
